A Personal Disclaimer

I am not the center of the universe. The world does not revolve around me. People have their own lives to live, their own paths to follow, and their own worlds to explore. They don’t need to orbit mine.

I don’t expect the world to bend to my wishes or conform to my expectations. Life has a way of unfolding on its own terms, often in ways I neither anticipate nor agree with. And that’s perfectly fine.

I don’t claim to have the final word on everything. I am not the ultimate authority on what is right, what is wrong, or how others should live their lives.

My opinions are just that: opinions. My beliefs are not universal truths, my convictions are not laws of nature, and my perspectives are not beyond question. I can believe something deeply and still be wrong. And someone who disagrees with me is not ignorant, foolish, dishonest, or morally inferior. They simply see things differently.

I am no saint, and I have never met a person who was entirely a villain. People are more complicated than the labels we give them. I make mistakes. Others get things right. Sometimes it’s the other way around. None of us has a monopoly on wisdom, virtue, or truth.

I have my beliefs, my values, and my convictions. Some I hold strongly. But holding a belief strongly doesn’t make it unquestionably right, and respecting a different perspective doesn’t mean abandoning my own.

I am still learning, still questioning, and still trying to make sense of a complicated world.

That’s a little about me. What about you?
